I WROTE 80% OF MR DREW’S ‘CASE’ SONG BUT HE FAILED TO PAY ME – Kuami Eugene

Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene has publicly exposed former Highly Spiritual artist Mr. Drew, revealing that he didn’t receive payment for a songwriting job.

According to Kuami Eugene, he penned 80% of Mr. Drew’s current hit single ‘Case,’ which is currently one of Drew’s biggest career successes.

Eugene stated that despite his significant contribution to the song’s success, he was not compensated.

During an interview with Naana Donkor Arthur, a U.S.-based Ghanaian vlogger and showbiz enthusiast, Eugene shared that he possesses a talent for songwriting, and since he can’t sing all the songs himself, he often writes for others.

He mentioned that he usually gets paid for his songwriting services, but Mr. Drew, in this case, failed to compensate him.

While he brought attention to this issue, Kuami Eugene opted not to provide further details, suggesting that it might be a topic for another time.
