MOST GHANAIAN COMPANIES ARE RELUCTANT TO SPONSOR GOSPEL MUSICIANS – Diana Hamilton

Renowned Ghanaian gospel artist, Diana Hamilton has provided insight into the financial struggles that her fellow musicians have in the business.

The singer revealed in an interview on TV XYZ’s “X Zone” that the majority of Ghanaian businesses are frequently hesitant to support gospel events, which hinders the growth of the sector.

Hamilton revealed to host Afia Owusu that certain businesses occasionally expressly decline to support gospel activities, while others have mixed feelings.

The “Adom” hitmaker said that a small number of businesses were prepared to sponsor gospel concerts because of the owners’ attitudes.

“You will encounter companies that outrightly say they don’t sponsor gospel events. There are also those who frown upon sponsoring gospel, leading to a scarcity of companies willing to sponsor.”

She was unable to determine if the phenomena was due to the unprofitability of the sector or the low returns that could be obtained from sponsoring gospel activities.

Touching on her role as a brand ambassador for both Awake Drinking Water and Enterprise Life Insurance, Diana attributed her success in securing those deals to “divine intervention.”
