Following the release of his photos of himself in underwear, Hiplife musician, Okyeame Kwame claimed to have received a large number of messages from ladies who were lusting for him.
Remember how Okyeame Kwame made headlines in January 2024 when he shared semi-naked pictures of himself on Instagram to promote an underwear brand?
He has pulled off pranks like this before; in April 2023, he was criticized for pulling off a similar prank.
In a TV XYZ interview, Okyeame Kwame stated that following the most recent uploads, he received thousands of private messages from women asking for sex.
In addition, Okyeame Kwame said that he was used to receiving such messages and was not shocked by them.
“So many people were thirsting after me, even in my DMs. There were a lot, thousands of messages. People wanted to meet up with me, and some were sending their numbers for me to call them.
“And it’s not just the boxer shorts ad. On a normal day, I get ladies thirsting after me,” he said.
He added that he never experienced hostility from people after posting images of himself online promoting his boxer shorts.
He claimed that he enjoyed every message he got and that none of the replies had offended him.
“Not one negative message came. All the messages that came, I liked,” he said.
The hitmaker of “Small Small” claimed that he has learned to disregard criticism because people would always have something negative to say about him.
“In this life, whatever you do, someone will say something. So if you put your mind on those, you won’t be able to achieve anything.
“When I wore only the boxers, people complained, if I had worn trousers over it, people would have complained, if I didn’t wear anything, people would have still complained,” he explained.
