The public has been exhorted by Veteran Ghanaian actor cum media personality, Akwasi Boadi, also known as Akrobeto, to follow the lead of a few well-known figures in the nation whose marriages have endured for years in spite of difficulties.
He expressed his admiration upon learning that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his spouse, Samira Bawumia, had been wed for two decades. He claims that such an admirable accomplishment is uncommon among today’s youth.
He advised Ghanaians to follow the example set by former President John Agyekum Kufuor, NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who all managed to stay married through thick and thin.
