Ghanaian businessman and entrepreneur, Jeremiah Quayson has been appointed the Country Representative for Global Entrepreneurship Festival.

The Global Entrepreneurship Festival is envisioned as a global cornerstone event to celebrate and catalyse entrepreneurship whilst inviting business leaders, innovators, creators and policymakers to engage in a meaningful exchange that will change the future of Global Enterprise.

The festival celebrates ideas that aim to drive the global agenda on poverty eradication through entrepreneurship.

This annual event is a beacon of inspiration, where thought leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs from various sectors converge to celebrate the vitality and diversity of entrepreneurial endeavours across the globe.

In the appointment letter intercepted by NKONKONSA.com, The Entrepreneurship Village, organizers of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival indicated that Jeremiah Quayson’s appointment is due to his admirable achievements and impact thus far in Entrepreneurship, and Global Impact, and also his ability to influence society positively.

As a country representative, Jeremiah Quayson’s key responsibility includes supporting, promoting, and marketing the Global Entrepreneurship Festival, leveraging personal and professional networks, including his social media platforms to maximize reach and participation.

Jeremiah Quayson, who was thrilled by his appointment, indicated that as a representative, he wants to create a platform where ideas can flourish and connections can be made.

In an interaction with our news desk, he said;

“With my platform as an ambassador, I envision using it to advocate for entrepreneurship by sharing success stories, providing resources and guidance, and highlighting the importance of entrepreneurial mindset and skills. I want to empower aspiring entrepreneurs to believe in themselves and take action.

As part of my ambassadorship, I plan to undertake various projects and initiatives. These may include organizing workshops, panel discussions, and mentoring sessions to support entrepreneurs at different stages of their journey.

One of the biggest challenges facing entrepreneurs today is access to resources and support. In my role, I plan to address this by connecting entrepreneurs with relevant networks, providing access to training and advocating for policies that foster entrepreneurship.”

The festival will take place at the Entrepreneurship Village during the Global Entrepreneurship Week in November 2024 in Nigeria.

The special guests of honour for the event are the Grand Patron of Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs Organization, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria), and the Grand Matron, Mrs. Folorunso Alakija (Group Managing Director of The Rose of Sharon Group).
