CHRISTIANS NOW FOCUS ON SOCIAL MEDIA THAN THE BIBLE, THEY ACT LIKE THERE’S NO HELL – Rev. Eastwood Anaba

The head of Fountain Gate Chapel, Reverend Eastwood Anaba has issued a strong warning, concerning social media usage taking precedence over Bible study,

He has noticed that instead of concentrating on spiritual development, people now routinely spend most of their time on social media, following the newest trends.

He advised against it, saying that it takes the attention away from God and is inappropriate for Christians.

He made the observation that many people spend more time engaging in online activities due to the influence of social media than reading the Bible to strengthen their understanding of God’s teachings.

The minister added that some people behave as if they won’t be held responsible in the hereafter due to the impact of social media.

“Social media has taken you away from your Bible. The number of times you read your Bible is less than the time you spend on Facebook and Instagram. Some of you stay on the thing [social media] from one to another. When was the last time you sat in front of the Word of God for even an hour?

“Today I’m calling a church to repentance. I’m calling a church and declaring that it is time for revival. It looks like we are too happy. It looks like there is no hell, and it looks like there is no heaven. But I came to announce to somebody that it is appointed unto man to die once, and after that there is judgement. Judgement is coming, so you better get your life in order,” he said while preaching to his congregants.
