Celebrated Ghanaian gospel musician Great Ampong was appointed as a Reverend Minister by Ghanaian-American Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng for his dedication to spreading the gospel and aiding the Christian community through music.
The consecration occurred while Great Ampong visited Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng’s church in the USA.
Prior to granting him the title, Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng prompted Great Ampong to consider his past conflicts and make amends with individuals, including Daddy Lumba, whom he has had disagreements with.
During the church ordination ceremony, Great Ampong followed the Archbishop’s suggestion and offered an apology to Daddy Lumba, his fellow musician.
