HOW CAN KEN AGYAPONG TELL US ‘FAILED’ BAWUMIA IS THE RIGHT MAN FOR GHANA? – DJ Slim

He is worried about Ken Agyapong’s reputation as an honest politician endorsing Dr. Bawumia for voting, finding it problematic in politics.

The DJ pointed out that Dr. Bawumia has failed to meet the expectations of Ghanaians as vice president, raising doubts about his potential as a presidential candidate.

During his Street Watching show, DJ Slim wondered why Dr. Bawumia could not lower import duties as he pledged, choosing instead to do so only after assuming the presidency.

“The current vice president says if we vote for him to become president, he will reduce import duties. Chairman, what stops you from subsidizing it now? An honest man like Ken Agyapong could stand on a platform with a man who was given a task for eight years and failed to deliver, and you are telling us that this guy [Bawumia] is the right person for Ghana.

“What happened to your honesty? You contested him in the flagbearership race because you didn’t believe in his ideologies,” said DJ Slim.

It will be recalled that Ken Agyapong endorsed Dr. Bawumia as the right person to lead Ghana, despite their past rivalry.

The action came as a surprise to most people, who were shocked by the MP’s gesture, considering his initial stance.

The vice president’s promise to reduce import duty when elected president has been met with vehement criticisms.
