Champion Rollie, a dancer and member of the Dance With Purpose (DWP) group, revealed the largest payment he has ever received for dancing.
As per his account, the incident took place earlier this year while he was engaged as an influencer during the Ghana vs Egypt match. He was shocked to see GH₵ 70,000.00 deposited into his account, as it was the agreed amount.
The dancer revealed this in an interview on Joy Prime’s all-children show, 4Kids Paradise, with the host, Akosua Debrah.
“This is the first time I’m disclosing this. The highest amount I’ve been paid is GH₵ 70,000.00. In January, I had a contract with Football Together, and they flew me to Cote d’Viore to be an influencer for Ghana and Egypt match. I did a lot of things by posting on my social media, and that’s the biggest contract I’ve ever signed,” he revealed.
At first, he found it hard to believe until he got a notification from his bank confirming the sum he had received.
Rollie finds that his favorite aspect of working as a professional dancer is the payment he receives, which varies depending on the specific event and agreement. In addition to that, he also experiences a sense of satisfaction, realizing that his art is making a difference in people’s lives.
“Knowing that you’re having a good impact and influence on the youth and people who are watching you is also an amazing feeling.” he added.
