YOLO STAR, JOHN PEASAH AKA ‘DROGBA’ TO GO FOR ‘DEMYELINATING’ TREATMENT ABROAD

Popular Ghanaian actor John Bredu Peasah, widely known as Drogba, popular actor from the hit TV show YOLO, will be going overseas for medical care as advised by his physicians.

This choice is made following a surge of backing from fans and supporters for the actor, who has been fighting demyelinating disease for the last two years.

On March 8, 2024, Peasah took to Instagram to thank everyone for the immense support he has received since his diagnosis and encouraged his fans to keep showing their support. He promised to keep them informed regularly about his progress during treatment.

“It has been a while since you’ve heard from me due to a few challenges with my treatment and the need to seek treatment abroad as recommended by my doctors. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me to this stage.

Thank you for showing concern and support. As I have been referred to receive further treatment abroad, I look forward to your continued support to help me receive the needed treatment for this neurological condition I am struggling with. God bless you all for your help in saving my life,” he posted.

The actor’s circumstances have led to a considerable overflow of support. Dr. Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate, was one of the backers who went to Peasah and donated money to help with his medical care.

Moreover, a charity drive was initiated to assist with the costs of his medical care overseas.
