Elder Dr Samuel Amo Tobin, Group Chairman of Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited (TPL), attributes his success, as well as the success of other prominent businessmen, to the Church of Pentecost (CoP).
Elder Dr Tobbin discussed on Channel One TV how the teachings and principles of the CoP have influenced their business skills and charitable attitude.
Dr. Tobbin, an elder, emphasized the role of tithing, offering, and selfless giving in the church’s growth.
He stated that these actions promote individual growth, enhance career progression, and play a pivotal role in advancing the church’s mission and worldwide connections.
“We were not like that when we came in. It is the church that made us who we are by the teachings that the church gives. Through tithing and offering. Tithes and sacrificial offerings. You give sacrificially, nobody pushes you, nobody forces you, give out and we teach you how to tithe.
“Give at least one-tenth of your income, your profit to God. Those that do it you see them big. All the big guys you go to their account you see what they pay the church monthly,” he stated.
Dr Tobbin added “You support the church. You support the church means you are building the church. the church has a lot of liabilities…Also in Pentecost, we are in 170 countries and for all the pastors there and their families the church must take care of them. So, it is the businesspeople that the church has that support the church. We give freely.”
