Nana Romeo, a radio host, is urging IGP Akuffo Dampare to prohibit all election-related prophecies to uphold peace and order post-election.
In a video, Nana Romeo voiced his worry over contradictory prophecies from different prophets regarding the outcome of the election, with one predicting the victory of the NDC and another predicting the success of the NPP.
He underlined the potential for confusion and unrest when a prophet’s prediction does not come true due to contradictions.
“We all know we have one God who doesn’t lie. How can God tell Prophet A that the NDC will win the election, and then tell Prophet B that the NPP will win? If these two prophets declare their prophecies publicly and one of them doesn’t come to pass, it can cause misunderstandings,” Nana Romeo said.
Nana Romeo is calling for action in response to various prophecies given by different men of God, especially Rev. Owusu Bempah, regarding the upcoming elections.
This has increased worries about possible conflicts and disagreements following the announcement of the election results. Nana Romeo thinks that prohibiting these prophecies would aid in avoiding unwarranted post-election chaos and promoting peace throughout the country.
“We are pleading with IGP Dampare to take action by placing a ban on election prophecies to maintain peace and order after the elections.
