BLACK STARS HOPE OF QUALIFYING FOR 2025 AFCON DASHED AFTER 2-0 DEFEAT TO KWESI APPIAH’S SUDANESE SIDE

The Black Stars of Ghana have lower odds of advancing to the 2025 ACON in Morocco following a 2-0 defeat to Sudan in Libya.

The National Men’s Football Team of Ghana allowed two goals in rapid succession in the 62nd and 65th minutes scored by Ahmed Mahmoud and Mohammed Abdel-Rahman.

Ghana remains in third position in Group F with only two points from four matches, while Sudan increased their points to seven after the victory.

Angola, currently leading the group with nine points, will face Niger, who are at the bottom of the rankings, later today at 4 pm. A victory for Angola secures a spot for the Palancas Negras in the upcoming AFCON in Morocco.
