“Even now, as I explore directing, I’m constantly learning from him.

The new movie she directed not only represents her first time behind the camera but also offers an original acting test.
“In this movie, I had to play the husband of Mr. Nyamekye,” she chuckled, recounting the initial challenge of portraying such a role opposite someone she considers a father figure.
“It took me out of my comfort zone, but that’s the beauty of directing and acting – you adapt, find your character’s truth, and bring that to the audience.”
