Shatta Wale has sparked interest once more, this time by disclosing the substantial fee he demands for his shows.
In a recent interview on Fakye TV in Kumasi, the energetic artist revealed that he charges an impressive $200,000 for a single show.
Shatta Wale emphasized the high costs associated with upholding his superstar status as he justified his premium booking fee.
“It depends on some of the shows that come up. Now my rating for some particular shows is from $200,000 because of the car I will pull up to the event. I have cars that, if I put them together, would cost more than $1M,” he stated.
Nevertheless, the king of dancehall also mentioned that his charges can be adjusted based on the circumstances and his connection with the event planners.
“Sometimes, I look at it and think, okay, this is a show where I can charge this amount. There are other shows that I do for free. Some event organizers will call me and say they have GH₵200,000 or GH₵300,000, and I’ll just agree to do it,” he revealed.
