A PLUS ACCUSES URSULA OWUSU OF POSSIBLY STAGING ALLEGED ATTACKS ON HER OFFICE AND RESIDENCE AFTER ELECTIONS

Musician and political activist, A Plus, has sparked controversy with claims that Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the former Minister of Communications, may have orchestrated alleged attacks on her office and residence.

In a Twitter post on December 11, 2024, sighted by NKONKONSA.com A Plus suggested that the alleged incidents could be a deliberate ploy to tarnish the image of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and gain public sympathy. He questioned the lack of surveillance measures, such as CCTV cameras, at the office and residence of the former minister despite her eight years in charge of overseeing communication infrastructure.

“It wouldn’t be surprising if it were a ploy to tarnish the NDC’s image and gain sympathy,” A Plus wrote. “If, after serving as Minister of Communications for eight years, her office and residence still lack CCTV cameras, it speaks volumes about the kind of associates Akufo-Addo worked with—more focused on theatrics than substance.”

A Plus ended his post with an emphatic statement: “SHE IS CAPABLE! IT IS POSSIBLE!!”

The post, which has garnered over 87,000 views, has fueled intense debate on social media, with some users agreeing with A Plus’s assertion while others dismissed the claims as baseless speculation.

The allegations come amidst heightened political tensions following the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) historic defeat in the 2024 general elections. While Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has not yet publicly responded to the claims, her supporters have described the comments as unfounded and defamatory.

Observers are keenly watching to see whether the former minister will address these allegations and provide clarity on the incidents reported at her premises.
