I DON’T NEED DORMAAHENE’S MONEY BUT I’M SHOCKED HE FAILED TO CHECK UP ON ME – Kofi Adoma Laments

Embattled media personality, Kofi Adoma expressed his surprise that the Dormaahene, Osagyefo Nana Agyeman Badu II, did not reach out to him after he was injured in the eye while covering the Kwafie festival in Dormaa Ahenkro.

As per the Ghanaian media figure, against the rumors, he does not require any financial help from the Dormaahene, but it would have been appropriate for the king to inquire about his well-being after he got hurt during the festival.

Kofi Adoma has, for the first time, discussed the eye injury he suffered while reporting on the festival and the consequences of his injuries.

While in the company of his wife and entire family, Kofi Adoma disclosed that he got a call from a Bono chief to report on the 25th anniversary of Dormaahene’s enstoolment celebration.

He mentioned that he visited the place with his team, and amidst the festivities, he was shot and lost his vision completely. He disclosed that following the shooting, he began to bleed.

Adoma stated that after that, he was brought to Dormaa Hospital. After undergoing treatment, he wished to return and keep covering the festival, but he felt too weak and in pain; he later flew to Accra before being taken abroad for further treatment.

The Angel TV presenter mentioned the report stating that Dormaahene has not inquired about his well-being since the incident and verified it.

He expressed his utter disbelief that upon returning home to attend his hometown festival, he didn’t get a single call from the Dormaahene to inquire about his well-being.

He stated that he had no desire to accept money from him, but at the very least, the King could have demonstrated some concern for his situation
