The Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Nana Agyeman Badu II, characterized Kofi Adoma’s purported ‘blindness’ as a tactic aimed at damaging the image of his realm.
Nana Agyeman Badu, addressing the situation for the first time after Kofi Adoma was shot in the eye while reporting on the 2024 Kwafie festival in Dormaa in December, stated that the whole event is a scheme to tarnish the reputation of the Bono kingdom.
The High Court Justice, who is privately known as Daniel Mensah, claimed that there is a scheme to discredit Dormaa whenever they achieve something that honors the Kingdom.
He asserted that during the Kwafie Festival, intended to celebrate 25 years of his rule, a scheme was devised to unveil the Kofi Adoma narrative to eclipse the event’s celebration.
