AFIA SCHWARZ RENDERS AN APOLOGY TO COURT OVER COMMENTS ON UTV

Afia Schwarzenegger, a contentious comedian, has apologized to the court and the public for her remarks aired on United Showbiz on UTV.

Regarding her ongoing case in the Tema High court, Afia Schwar has issued a statement. She has expressed regret for becoming involved in topics that were already in the court and for making inaccurate comments about the case.

The Tema High Court has scheduled a new date to render its decision in the case involving comedian Afia Schwarzenegger and Ashante Chairman for NPP Chairman Wontumi.

The two legal parties met on Tuesday, December 20, and the judge, Emmanuel Ankamama, moved to tell the court about a submitted punishment imposed on the client of Afia Schwar.

Recall that Afia Schwar was found guilty of defaming Chairman Wontumi Bernard Antwi Boasiako and was given a 10-day prison sentence by a Tema High Court.

Chairman Wontumi sued Afia Schwar, the host of UTV Nana Ama McBrown, and two other panelists; A Plus and Mr. Logic.

The court found her guilty and gave her a 10-day prison term before she apologized. Afia Schwar said in the statement that she would behave properly and refrain from taking any actions that the public would find objectionable.
