Ghanaian dancehall great Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known as Shatta Wale, has attacked the popular Ghanaian journalist, Blessed Godsbrain Smart, better known as Captain Smart.
Wale denigrated Captain Smart in a video by calling him a very stupid man. The contentious performer’s ire is a result of an event from last year, when he objected to appearing at a gig he was booked for in the Volta Region.
If my memory is right, Captain Smart’s employer, Media General, assisted in planning the Volta Region event where Wale was scheduled to appear.
Even though Captain invited Wale to appear on his program to promote the event, the so-called dancehall king did not appear when it was time.
After that, Smart advised Wale to exercise caution in how he responds to certain circumstances, which didn’t sit well with the “On God” hitmaker.
