FC BEAUTY GROUP 70% OF ITS WORKERS

Mrs. Grace Ameny-Obeng, the chief executive officer of the FC Beauty Group of Companies, has stated that the economic downturn in the country has led to the layoffs of almost 70% of her staff.

Forever Clair is one of the most well-known brands of skin care products. However, it appears that the business and its reputation are slowly slipping away as a result of economic hardships.

The boss of FC Beauty has admitted that she has shut down 80% of her businesses, which has left some of her employees without jobs because she was forced to fire them.

This disclosure from Mrs. Grace Ameny-Obeng was made when she was delivering a speech at a memorial lecture at Ho to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the demise of president John Atta Mills which took place at the Cedi Auditorium of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS).

“I have closed 80 percent of my businesses, and I have laid off 70 percent of staff. We are now working three days a week. The situation is too stressful”, she said.

“We want our Ghana back. This is not the Ghana we want. We cannot be paying people for no work done,” she lamented.
