GHANA IS STILL OWING ME $4000 AFTER WINNING 2009 UNDER-20 WORLD CUP – Coach Sellas Tetteh

The money promised to Ghanaian coach Sellas Tetteh for winning the 2009 World Youth Championship has not yet materialized, according to him.

He claims that after Ghana won the U20 FIFA World Cup, he was scheduled to receive roughly $4,000, but 13 years later, he still hasn’t received anything.

“I’ve been talking with Kurt Okraku because when we won the World Cup, the technical team didn’t get any money. We didn’t get any money from them. It was written down somewhere. I talked with Kurt Okraku about it. At least they were supposed to give us $4,000,” Sellas Tetteh told Sports Obama TV in an interview.

The Ghanaian coach with a lot of experience added, “As for the players’ money and all that, they weren’t paid anything. They saved it for them in an account. I’ve talked to the people in charge as well as Kurt Okraku, but he’s been busy with the World Cup. I’ll try to talk to him and meet him.”

Sellas Tetteh rose to fame when the Ghana U20 team won the World Cup in 2009.

After 13 years, he believes that his country will be proud of him for bringing pride and glory to it. He just fell unwell, but he is now doing wonderfully.
