GHANA PARTY IN THE PARK: 80% OF PATRONS HAVE RECEIVED THEIR REFUNDS AFTER POSTPONEMENT – Akwaaba UK CEO

Dennis Tawiah, the CEO of Akwaaba UK, has disclosed that most of the attendees who bought tickets for the Ghana Party in the Park event scheduled on July 12 have now received their refunds.

The event was rescheduled to August 12 due to unfavorable weather conditions, as announced by the organizers.

During an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Mr. Tawiah mentioned that approximately 3000 tickets are being refunded, and he and his team are striving diligently to resolve the issue.

He expressed regret over the unfortunate incident.

“They do take time and we are letting people know that they will get their refunds. It’s also taking time but refunds are going on. It’s on a first come first served basis.

“Over 3000 people are expecting their refunds. We have sent everyone an email and I can say that about 80% have been refunded,” he revealed.

Mr. Dennis Tawiah acknowledged the difficulty of the process, but expressed confidence in his collecting team’s communication and progress in the refund procedure.

He mentioned that the police praised their efforts. Additionally, he shared that this challenge has motivated him to focus on his next event at the O2 Arena.

“If we survive this year’s Party in the Park there’s a bigger agenda coming up. O2 Arena! Get ready for us.

“After what we have been through these couple of weeks and with the kind of investment that has gone in, I believe that the Ghana agenda could happen.”

Ghana Party in the Park Festival is an exciting family fun day event that celebrates Ghanaian culture and brings people of all ages and genders together.
