US-born Ghanaian fashion designer Virgil Abloh has reportedly passed on.
According to a tweet by Luis Vuitton, the company where Virgil Abloh worked as their artistic director, Abloh was battling cancer privately but succumbed to the deadly sickness at the age of 41 and the sad event happened in the late hours of Sunday, November 27th, 2021.
Louis Vuitton, a company in which Virgil worked as its menswear designer since 2018, disclosed how devastated they were and sent their condolence via tweets to his family.
“LVMH, Louis Vuitton and Off White are devastated to announce the passing of Virgil Abloh, on Sunday, November 28th, of cancer, which he had been battling privately for several years,” the tweet read.
