GHANAIAN MUSICIANS MISSING IN CNN TOP 10 BIGGEST MUSIC STARS IN AFRICA LIST

American news-based pay television channel Cable News Network – CNN has compiled a list of 10 Africa’s biggest music stars and interestingly no Ghanaian musician made it into the subjective list.

The list which has no criteria for its justification or any explanation whatsoever, has five Nigerian musicians out of ten but interestedly one of Africa’s most consistent and relevant music stars Davido from Nigeria also didn’t make the list.

CNN’s top ten biggest music stars in Africa has Grammy nominee Burna Boy from Nigeria topping the list followed by 3-times Grammy Winner Angelique Kidjo from Benin in the second position and it goes on to the 10th position.

The list, which was compiled over the weekend, has five Nigerian artists out of 10: Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Wizkid, Mr Eazi, and Tiwa Savage.
