Following the arrest of Ghanaian socialite Mona Faiz Montrage, also known as Hajia 4 Real, dancehall king, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, also known as Shatta Wale, has responded.
Authorities in the United Kingdom reportedly detained Hajia during the course of the week, purportedly in response to an active arrest warrant for her in the United States.
In addition to her boyfriend, Hajia is charged with fraud. They are purportedly sought after in the US because of a $8 million fraud case.
Monalisa “Mona Gucci” Semeha recently stated that Mona and her boyfriend are both prohibited from entering the country after being identified as the Mona who was denied entry;
Hajia stayed behind after the program for weeks, enjoying fun in the UK. She has since been detained, so it appears that she was being watched the entire time.
Shatta Wale, who is simultaneously startled and heartbroken, took to his Facebook page to express his concern for the plight of his best friend.
The artist in his post wrote, “Mona, God will see you through Ok, just believe in that sweet soul spirit. I’m praying here for you…I’m so sad”
In another post he wrote; ‘Guy please help me, Pray for my Mom Mona’
