LEGON CITIES FC TEAM ATTACKED BY ARMED ROBBERS ON KUMASI-BIBIANI HIGHWAY

The Ghana Premier club, Legon Cities, faced an attack by armed robbers while traveling on the Bibiani-Kumasi highway.

This incident occurred as the team was returning to Accra after a league game against Samartex.

During the attack, the driver’s side of the team bus was damaged, and the players and officials had their possessions, including mobile phones and laptops, stolen.

Additionally, one player, Osman Amadu, sustained injuries during the ordeal.

“There are no casualties but they took everything from us,” player, Nicholas Mensah is quoted by Kickgh.
