The host of Kokrokoo on Peace FM, Kwami Sefa Kayi, has added his name to the list of individuals refuting recent statements made by Reverend Sonnie Badu, the founder and pastor of Rockhill Chapel, against the consumption of pork.
The journalist claimed that if the claim that eating pork makes one possessed were accurate, he would be the repository of devils.
“On the flipside it has been reported that Sonnie Badu says those who eat pork will have demons attacking them at midnight. I don’t know if he actually said it. Sonnie Badu, wherever you are it is being reported that you claim demons will possess those of us who eat pork? If that’s the case I must be full of it,” he stated on the Wednesday, February 23, 2023, amidst laughter.
Sonnie Badu, a well-known gospel singer, has recently made headlines due to his outspoken opposition to eating pig.
He has attempted to base his case on biblical teachings, although some of his detractors claim that Jesus, in accordance with the New Testament, sanctified everything, including pig, for human use.
Some of Kwame Sefa Kayi’s listeners responded to his stance on the matter by texting him their opinions, with several of them primarily supporting the journalist.
“If Sonnie Badu himself turn into kwii (pig), we will eat him,” a message from Chief Biney read by the host said.
