I HAVE NO ISSUES WITH SARKODIE – Yaa Pono

Solomon Adu Antwi, better known by his stage name Yaa Pono, is one of Ghana’s talented rappers who has admitted that he has no beef with Sarkodie, despite what individuals like Kwaw Kese assert.

“I’m cool with Sarkodie, we have no issues”, Yaa Pono has said.

A few days after the release of a remix version of the song “Stir Up” by the late Bob Marley which featured Sarkodie, Yaa Pono also cooked a song titled “YARD” which many including Kwaw Kese tagged as a diss to Sarkodie.

In the song, Yaa Pono in one of his lines asked since when did we start featuring the dead?
This line really did not go well with most fans of rapper Sarkodie and brought a lot of heated arguments on social media.

But Yaa Pono setting the records straight on Kingdom FM in an interview revealed that he was only making it clear that in the history of Ghana music, it was Sarkodie who first features a dead person adding that he has no issue with his brother.

In the said song, Yaa Pono also bragged about his skills claiming he is the boss of rap in Tema. He bragged about playing shows every weekend and also had a question in it that says, since when did we start to feature the dead?

In his interview on Kingdom FM, when asked whether he was referring to Sarkodie in his music, Yaa Pono responded, “No no no, I was just doing my music. All the time when I write stuff, some of these things will come.”
