Young Ghanaian rapper Yaw Tog, better known as Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, has stated that he intends to donate 20,000 exercise books to students.
Yaw Tog declared his intention to create an NGO and has promised to be kind to schoolchildren by providing them with books for their study.
Yaw Tog revealed that he has already given away over 6,000 books to some chosen schools in Ghana during an interview with Amansan Krakye on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
“TOGLife Foundation we help people, especially the kids like the young ones like me and I have been able to share 6,000 books to them,” he told Amansan Krakye in a one-on-one interview.
When the host questioned him about how he intended to pay for his new project, which involves giving out 20,000 exercise books to schoolchildren, he revealed that he would do so by using the money from his most recent event at the Kumasi Rotary Park.
He continued “I shared the books among kids in both public and private schools and we are trying to raise money to supply about 20,000 books so that’s the limit we want to reach.
“So we are still on it and after my October show, I will use the money to go and support activities of my foundation for the people on the streets and everywhere,” he remarked.
