MAHAMA HAS GHANA’S CREATIVE INDUSTRY AT HEART – John Dumelo

A renowned actor and farmer, John Dumelo says former President John Mahama has Ghana’s Creative Industry at heart.

Speaking on Starr Chat with Bola Ray monitored by pulsegh, the renowned actor stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will detail more on the plans the party has for the Creative Industry.

“Former President John has the Creative Industry at heart. Why is it that when it comes to elections they will want to involve a lot of creative people? Because they know we are a powerful block. Once we say we are going this way we do that together. I know for a fact that when our manifesto comes the plans for the Creative Act will be spelled out back to back,” Mr. Dumelo stated.

He claims that young people in Ghana are becoming more enterprising, and he wants to support them in realizing their goals.

“Because people want to be the boss, people want to own businesses. I feel the youth these days are more entrepreneurial,” he added.

Speaking briefly about his contributions to the educational establishments in his district, Mr. Dumelo mentioned that he had given several students scholarships.

“Recently I offered 200 scholarships across the constituency. We had over 4,000 applications. These are a few things I can do for GIMPA, Legon, and UPSA students among others and they are now working in banks, oil and gas companies, and restaurants,” he added.
