The Anti-Corruption Preparatory Team established by President-elect John Dramani Mahama has introduced multiple platforms to enable citizens to report suspected acts of corruption securely.
In a press release dated December 20, 2024, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson for the Mahama Transition Team, announced the availability of a toll-free number 0800 900 111, a website www.oralgh.org, and an email public@oralgh.org for public use.
The team assured the public that all reports submitted through these platforms would be handled promptly and with strict confidentiality.
This move forms part of the transition team’s broader efforts to tackle corruption and promote accountability as the new administration prepares to assume office.
The statement assured Ghanaians that all reports received would be handled with utmost discretion and urgency.
“The public is hereby assured that information sent to the team will be handled expeditiously and with utmost discretion,” the release emphasized.
Launching these platforms marks a significant step in the incoming administration’s fight against corruption. It aims to empower citizens to play an active role in exposing corruption, thereby fostering good governance.
