OUT-OF-COURT SETTLEMENT IN MARTHA ANKOMAH’S ₵5 MILLION DEFAMATION LAWSUIT AGAINST LILWIN FAILED AS CASE HEADS TO COURT ON NOVEMBER 5

The highly anticipated defamation case involving Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah and popular Kumawood actor Lilwin is set to proceed in court. The suit, which seeks ₵5 million in damages, will now begin its formal hearing on November 5th, 2024.

An Accra High court has revealed proposals for an out-of-court settlement in Martha Ankomah’s ₵5 million defamation suit against actor Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as Lilwin failed.

The lawsuit stems from alleged defamatory remarks made by Lilwin, which Ankomah claims have severely harmed her reputation and career. Despite attempts to settle the matter outside of court, Lilwin and his legal team have expressed their intention to contest the case, prompting the hearing to move forward.

With the trial set to begin in a few weeks, all eyes will be on the court as both parties prepare to present their arguments. Ankomah is reportedly seeking to clear her name and hold Lilwin accountable for his actions.
