Former AIDS ambassador Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has admitted that her “marriage” to Kwame Fordjour, popularly known as “Dr. UN,” was a hoax.
In a video shared online, Joyce Dzidzor expressed her gratitude to their fans for their support and well-wishes even if their contractual marriage comes to an end.
“Thank you for making our marriage a memorable one. We are so grateful for every support you have given us. Our marriage was based on a contract. We had a two weeks marriage contract and we really enjoyed our marriage.
“We are not divorcing ooo. We are not divorcing. We are always going to renew our vows because I don’t live in Ghana. I will be going to Germany soon but my husband is still my husband,” she said.
On September 23, 2022, photos from their alleged wedding ceremony emerged with a declaration that they were a couple, which left numerous Ghanaians bewildered and perplexed.
Some Ghanaians claim that Dr. UN and the former AIDS ambassador have successfully used their friendship to gain the attention of the international community.
The pair maintains that their love was genuine despite widespread speculation to the contrary.
