As Ghana approaches its pivotal general elections on December 7, the New Media Association of Ghana (NMAG) has issued a powerful call for peace and unity. In a press release dated November 22, 2024, the organization emphasized the importance of maintaining harmony before, during, and after the electoral process.
The NMAG urged all citizens, political parties, media, and stakeholders to uphold the integrity of the electoral process by promoting respectful and peaceful campaigns. “Peace is the most valuable legacy we can leave for ourselves and future generations,” the statement read.
The association called on voters to exercise discipline on election day by adhering to the guidelines set by the Electoral Commission and respecting security personnel.
