Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, who is also known as Bulldog and manages artists, has criticized the Tema-based music duo R2Bees and singer Efya for not performing on international stages with their label mate Wizkid.
Wizkid has been performing on big stages around the world and Bulldog wonders why R2bees and Efya, who are known to be close friends with Wizkid, have not done the same.
Bulldog stated that R2bees and Efya only know how to smoke and do drugs with their Nigerian friend, and nothing more.
He expressed disappointment with the musicians for failing to take advantage of Wizkid’s success and perform on international stages, which has had a negative impact on their careers.
Bulldog posted: “So R2Bees and Efya will smoke, drink and chill with Wizkid anytime he’s in Ghana but can’t join him on international stages and showcase their talents to the world? Again Ghana missed out on national duties at the 62,850-capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, yesterday. What is wrong with us?”
