Dancehall and Reggae musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly referred to as Shatta Wale in the entertainment industry and his former manager, Lawrence Asiamah Hanson widely known as Bulldog are to make their first court appearance for their first court hearing over a defamation case.
This come after Bulldog, the Chief Executive Officer of Bullhaus Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Shatta Wale for subtly accusing him over the murder of Kwaw Kese’s former manager, Fennec Okyere.
You would recall that Fennec Okyere was murdered in cold blood by some unknown assailants in his residence in Spintex several years ago and the Police have not come out with substantive information about the perpetrators of the crime.
In a social media post on Wednesday, November 2, the ‘My Level’ hitmaker wrote, “Bull Dog, since you are bringing out secrets, you will tell Ghanaians what happen to Fenicks (sic) Murder!! And I am not joking about this time!!”
“I am ready to tell the court about what you told me about you and your men and how you planned that foolish act, get ready. This Akufo-Addo won’t give you a murderer (sic) chance to be on our streets!!! Watch how this ends!!! You can’t fight time!!!”
Bulldog’s attorneys stated in court filings submitted to an Accra High Court that these claims aim to imply that he planned, carried out, or assisted in Mr. Okyere’s death.
The CEO of Bullhaus Entertainment explained his decision to sue his former artiste in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.
The well-known artist’s manager reiterated Wale’s assertion that he was the former president’s hired gunman.
According to him, Shatta Wale made significant statements in his writings that endangered both his reputation and that of former president John Mahama.
Bulldog considers it a sensible choice to challenge the “Gringo” composer in light of this and Fennec Okyere’s murder accusation against him.
