SOME PLAYERS ARE NOT IN BLACK STARS SQUAD BECAUSE OF “PAY-TO-PLAY” – Stonebwoy Calls Out GFA

BET award-winner, Stonebwoy, has reacted to the 26 man-squad of the senior national team, the Black Stars that will represent Ghana at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

On Monday morning, during a press conference that was broadcast on television, the head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo named his team for the competition, putting an end to all rumors.

However, for a variety of reasons, numerous well-known names were not included on the World Cup roster.

Jojo Wollacott and Richard Ofori, two goalkeepers, have been ruled out of the competition owing to injury, while Jeffrey Schlupp and Joseph Paintsil were also left out despite having strong club performances.

Many social media users have expressed their opinions about the Black Stars team for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, including Ghanaian singer Stonebwoy, who is accusing the decision-makers of accepting bribes.

The Dancehall musician in a tweet called out the Ghana Football Association (GFA), for not including some players that deserved to be in the squad.

“There are players who are supposed to be in the squad who are not here because of #PayToPlay,”
