Ghanaian screen icon, Jackie Appiah recently talked about her amazing experience meeting Hollywood stars Naomi Campbell and Tiffany Haddish, which was the apex of her storied acting career.
The actress said she was shocked that both celebs recognized her so quickly, and she attributed this to her significant parts in African films.
Recalling the memorable experience, Jackie revealed, “I remember I met Naomi Campbell; she watches African movies a lot. I also met Tiffany Haddish in Los Angeles, and her househelp makes her watch a lot of African movies, so they watch our movies.”
The recognition from such acclaimed figures underscores the global appeal of Appiah’s work in the film industry.
