THE VIDEO OF ME WEARING KENTE WITH SARKODIE, JOEY B AND OTHERS WAS NOT A MUSIC VIDEO – King Promise Clarifies

Ghanaian artiste, King Promise clarified that his music video, which showed important figures in the entertainment industry wearing Kente, was actually a legitimate wedding ceremony.

During an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Doreen Avio, he clarified that he put a lot of resources into the supposed video shoot because it was a real wedding event.

“It was a true African ceremony. Do you think we will waste money like that?” he quizzed.

He elaborated that the event was intimate, with only a select few family members and loved ones in attendance. Nevertheless, he suggested that a larger wedding might be on the horizon.

“You may never know if there is another wedding coming. Because this was just a little bit of the whole show.”

This happens following online wedding videos with stars such as Sarkodie, Dancegod Lloyd, and Joey B stirring speculation as to whether it was a real wedding or a music video filming.

King Promise has promised his supporters that he will announce his marriage plans at the right time, but emphasizes that he prefers to keep his personal life private.

“Everything will unveil itself very soon. Rest assured I’ll unveil it but my private stuff remains private,” he noted.
