THOSE WHO SCAMMED GOD AND GHANAIANS WITH NATIONAL CATHEDRAL PROJECT MUST BE PROSECUTED BY NEXT NDC GOV’T – Okudzeto Ablakwa

Ghanaian politician and Member of Parliament for North Tong Constituency, Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa has bemoaned the resources of Ghana that have been made to go waste under the leadership of the Akufo-Addo administration.

Taking to his Twitter page, he pointed out that because of the construction of the national cathedral, many monumental and significant buildings had to be sacrificed and destroyed and described the project as an embarrassing endeavour which has so far cost Ghanaians 58 million dollars.

According to him, those in charge of the construction of the national cathedral who oversaw the squandering of the tax payer’s money must be brought to book and prosecuted accordingly whilst assuring that the next NDC government will not be allowed to go scot-free if they don’t ensure the prosecution of the perpetrators for what he termed as ‘heinous crime’.

He claimed they handlers of the project scammed God and Ghanaians.

“As we enter Akufo-Addo’s Cathedral Commissioning Week, we must never ever forget that what has now embarrassingly become the world’s most expensive US$58million abandoned ugly pit was once a very beautiful and iconic province with the following notable structures which have all been senselessly demolished: Bungalows for Judges; Judicial Training Institute; Passport Head Office; Scholarship Secretariat; Bungalows for CHRAJ; Waterstone Realty Luxury Apartment Complex; Headquarters of Comsys IT Firm; Malian Ambassador’s Residence.

The next NDC government will be deserving of the most severe punishment from the Ghanaian people if the perpetrators of this heinous crime are not prosecuted, and if our looted public funds are not retrieved from all those who scammed God and Ghanaians. Why don’t some people fear God?”
