WHY IS ATTORNEY GENERAL AND GHANA POLICE HOLDING OUR MONEY? – Bulldog Fumes Over Menzgold’s GHC2.5m Disbursement

The Chief Executive Officer of Bullhaus Entertainment, Lawrence Asiamah Hanson aka Bulldog has revealed the names of 108 persons Menzgold sent to Ghana Police for disbursement of 2.5 million Ghana cedis.

The Ghana Police Service had announced that it has deposited the GH¢2.5 million it received from Nana Appiah Mensah, the Chief Executive Officer of the defunct gold dealership firm Menzgold, at the Bank of Ghana.

The service made the announcement in a statement dated October 24, 2023.

“The Police, on the advice of the Office of the Attorney-General (AG), on Friday, October 20, 2023, received an amount of GH₵2.5 million from the founder of the defunct Menzgold company, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1. The said amount has been deposited in the Police Exhibit account at the Bank of Ghana (BoG) for the attention of the Court.”

Taking to his Facebook page, Bulldog subtly accused the Attorney General and Ghana Police of keeping the money when families are dependent on it.

He wrote;

“These are the names on the list Menzgold sent to Ghana Police Service to disburse the 2.5 million Ghana cedis to.
