YOU CAN’T DRIVE EXPENSIVE CARS AND COME TO A PASTOR FOR GOD’S BLESSING – Archbishop

A clergyman known as Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba has asserted that you shouldn’t expect God to reward you if you live in poverty while your pastor drives a luxury car.

According to reports, the man of God from the Church of Uganda told his followers to watch out for their pastors when they get successful.

He asserts that it simply doesn’t make sense for a wealthy Christian to visit a struggling pastor who frequently travels to pray for him in order to receive additional benefits from God. This affluent Christian also maintains a luxury lifestyle, including owning numerous costly cars.

It is reported that Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba chastised churchgoers who drove themselves to church as their pastors walked to the same building to give sermons and pray for them.

Do not allow your church leaders to walk on foot when you are driving expensive vehicles and you expect to kneel before them for God’s blessings,” Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba, said as quoted by the Daily Monitor.

Below are some of the reactions to Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba’s message as compiled by tuko.co.ke:

Dickens Kwefaho: “Materialistic tendency shouldn’t take over the church, was Jesus driving? Those church leaders can bless themselves too and drive instead.”

Nathan Nash-Gang Nutty Neithan: “Jesus and his disciples always walked on foot to spread the good news of the Lord God please.”

Arineitwe Emmauel: “What should they offer? Let’s follow the example of our saviour Christ Jesus and his Disciples who never had vehicles and performed extraordinarily.”

Faith Agwang: “Can this man show us any verse in the bible that says man blesses man⁉️ Sebo will kneel to God for blessings not you.”

Charles Emong: “Blessings come straight from the Lord and I can talk directly to my God through prayer. Therefore, I don’t need to kneel before such materialistic priests.”
