GOVERNMENT DECLARES SEPTEMBER 21 AS PUBLIC HOLIDAY

The government has designated Wednesday, September 21, a public holiday.

The Interior Ministry, Ambrose Dery, the interior minister, stated in a statement on Monday that it was to honour Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day. He, therefore, advised that it be observed as

“The general public is hereby informed that Wednesday, 21st September 2022 which marks Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day, is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country,” the statement urged.
