Joseph Langabell has changed his mind about his assertion that Abiba is to blame for Ghana’s World Cup collapse, which suggests that some high-ups pulled some strings to rein him in.
The Ghanaian national team’s main drummer has revised his earlier assertion that Abiba is to blame for Ghana’s loss at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. His initial assertion went viral on social media.
After Ghana’s heartbreaking World Cup defeat, Langabell was caught on camera blaming Abiba, a hairstylist who styles the hair of some Black Stars players, for the eventual collapse of the national team while outlining past incidents that demonstrate Abiba is responsible for all of the Black Stars’ woes.
According to Langabell in that video, Abiba asked the team management to terminate her since every time she comes the team’s training, they lose the upcoming game and occasionally even witness events from 2014.
Langabell received criticism for the movie because many people believed it was an attempt to ruin the woman’s career and provoke public indignation.
However, Langabell has now retracted what he claimed about Abiba in the earlier interview. Because he was still reeling from Ghana’s terrible defeat, he claimed that the talk was informal.
The amusing thing is that he claimed to have never before laid eyes on Abiba.
