Ghanaian stand-up comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney, also known as DKB, has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is the most non-tribalistic political party in the country.
Addressing a gathering arranged by the NDC, the comedian stated that the NDC is inclusive of individuals from all tribal backgrounds.
DKB explained that this is why individuals from various regions and ethnic groups of Ghana attend all NDC gatherings.
He said, “Which party is here, the NDC, right? Let me tell you, the NDC is the most non-tribalistic party in Ghana; everyone is here.”
While members of the listed groups cheered, he kept talking about tribal groups in Ghana.
During the event, comedy skit creator SDK expressed disappointment about the expensive data rates and slow internet connection in Ghana.
He stated that creating content has become more costly because of the rise in internet data fees, while slow internet speeds and poor connectivity are still hindering their ability to produce content efficiently.
SDK said, “I am also a content creator, and I agree with what my colleague just said. The issue of internet connectivity for we content creators is of major concern, and it is not only about the cost of the internet now but also the speed of it.”
