ARMED ROBBERS ATTACKED US TWICE, WE COULDN’T GO HOME AFTER SING-A-THON – Afua Asantewaa

Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum revealed that she and her spouse had experienced two robberies only a few days before initiating her endeavor to surpass the Guinness World Record (GWR) through a sing-a-thon.

In an interview with GhOne TV, she disclosed this, recalling the tremendous trauma the events had caused her, which may have interfered with her attempts to surpass the Guinness World Record.

“Monday, before the actual attempt, we were attacked by robbers in our house, but they couldn’t get in. Then on Wednesday, when we got home, they had broken into our home, but we don’t know how they got in,” Afua Asantewaa recalled.

Although the first robbery attempt was unsuccessful, the second event is noteworthy because, although Afua Asantewaa and her husband were not home, the bandit(s) managed to enter their house and took nothing of value.

“They just scattered all our stuff; they didn’t take money or anything valuable; all they took was my husband’s deodorant and spray. There were laptops and money, but they didn’t take them. They just came to mess the place up,” she added.

She continued to tell how she and her husband were terrified following the two break-ins and had to take refuge in a motel even after the sing-a-thon.

She talked about how she could have failed in her attempt to break the Guinness World Record due to the unexplained robbery episodes and other conditions, but she persevered.

“Anybody who saw me on Thursday would have said that I was stressed out already, but they didn’t know what was happening to me. Because on Wednesday night, we couldn’t sleep in our bedroom; we spent it in the living room. We were scared because our doors and windows were intact, and we don’t know how the person got into our room.”
