Popular TikTok influencer, Asantewaa, says just because someone used to attend the same school as her does not mean that she will automatically add them to her list of pals.
Speaking during a live TikTok session that GhanaWeb was able to witness, Asantewaa stated that her friends from junior high school (JHS), senior high school (SHS), and even tertiary education would only ever be her friends.
Regardless of the degree of relationship developed, she stressed that one must make an effort to set boundaries with individuals when making this comment.
It’s unclear what prompted Asantewaa, but it seems that some of her “entitled acquaintances” are the target of this specific post.
“The fact that I have attended the same school as you don’t mean we are friends. We are classmates, you have your limits and I have my limits as well. Life just brought us together in school or on campus. It does not mean literally we are family or friends, no,” she stated.
