Ghanaian actress, Kuami Eugene and his former housekeeper, Mary, are the subject of a continuing controversy that Akuapem Poloo has weighed in on.
Akuapem Poloo, horrified by the entire affair, attacked Mary and her mother for being ungrateful in a self-recorded video.
She said that if Mary worked at a bank and made 1000 cedis a day, all of the money would be gone by the time she subtracted her costs.
She continued by saying that Kuami Eugene’s 400 cedis payment to Mary was more than sufficient, particularly considering that he had given her lodging, clothing, and food. Akuapem Poloo chastised them for their lack of gratitude.
In the meantime, Mary’s mother, a former housekeeper for Kuami Eugene, has disclosed the ways in which the artist mistreated her daughter.
Mary’s mother said in a recent interview that Kuami Eugene had done something to her daughter.
She claimed that Mary was in excellent condition and had no episodes of fainting when she was with him.
She began to lose weight and kept passing out from extreme hunger, though, as soon as she started working with the multiple award-winning artist.
She also gave Kuami a severe warning, telling him to stop hurting her daughter or else she would make him pay for it.
When multiple photos and videos of Mary’s care from Kuami Eugene appeared on social media, some Ghanaians accused Mary and her family of being ungrateful.
Online videos of Kuami Eugene and Mary performing various songs with Mary serving as a backup vocalist have surfaced.
