DR. DUFFOUR MARKS 80th BIRTHDAY WITHOUT A SINGLE GREY HAIR

Leading opposition figure and founder of Defunct Unibank Dr. Kwabena Duffour has celebrated 80 years on earth looking younger and healthy without any signs of grey in hair.

Many social media users have wondered how the politician and retired banker managed to avoid growing grey hair which is usually associated with old age.

In the past, some Ghanaian old men have been accused of using hair dye to hide their grey hair but is not clear whether the Ghanaian banker falls in that category or not.

The onset of hair greying in humans varies from person to person, as well as among racial groups of people based on genetic and other germane factors, health researchers say.

It has been established empirically that white people start to grey in their mid-or late 30s whereas African Americans begin to grey in their mid-40s. Averagely, however, most people grow grey hair in their late 30s or mid-40s.

Dr. Kwabena Duffour is challenging former President John Mahama for the 2024 ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress and elections are due in May 2023.

Should the former Banker beat the former President, he will ascend the flagbearership and possibly the Presidency at the age of 82, making him one of the oldest Presidents in the world joining Paul Biya of Cameroon, Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria and Salva Kiir of South Sudan among others.
